There has been a major change last week which has the IAM&AW in a state of limbo in regards to arbitration and cases being heard. Chief arbitrator Teplitsky resigned last week of his duties and there is no real replacement. We currently have a backlog of cases and cases which were in the works with Mr. Teplitsky which are sort of “up in air”.
The IAM&AW is striving to get a replacement as soon as possible so that we can resume the process and move forward. Depending on what is decided there could be possible changes to how arbitration is handled. We will try to keep you informed to the best of our knowledge as we are fed information. Thanks for your understanding and ask Kent or myself any questions if you need any clarification.
